Highest goal-scorer in the Euros: Ronaldo miles ahead of rest

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo tops the list of players with the most goals in the Euros. He has scored 14 goals in 25 games, solidifying his place as a record-breaker in European Championship history.

Following Ronaldo is former French footballer Michel Platini with nine goals, an impressive feat considering all his goals were scored at Euro 1984, a performance that helped France secure the title that year. Antoine Griezmann from France and Alan Shearer from England are tied for third place with seven goals each.

Eight players share the fourth spot, having scored six goals each. Among them, Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy stands out for achieving this in the fewest matches. France have the most representation in the top 10 with three players - Michel Platini, Antoine Griezmann, and Thierry Henry.

Portugal follow with two players, Cristiano Ronaldo and Nuno Gomes. Alan Shearer is the sole representative from England, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic represents Sweden. Alvaro Morata from Spain and Romelu Lukaku from Belgium complete the list.
