RCB vs RR – A game that promises so much entertainment, twists and match ups. However, there is one match-up or rather a comparison that has taken over all other things. Jos Buttler is loving life at the moment and he is scoring centuries in T20 cricket for fun. He just can’t stop scoring.
And speaking of centuries and somehow even the word ‘stopped scoring’, it reminds us about Virat Kohli and his rough patch at the moment. Forget scoring big 100’s or even playing huge knocks, King Kohli is not able to even get off the mark at the moment. He has been dismissed for two straight golden ducks in his last two innings.

What a contrast between him and Jos Buttler as we head into this game.
But as they say –
Form is temporary and class is permanent!
And we all know King Kohli is class apart from the rest of the herd. And yes, all great players go through lean patches. And he is undoubtedly one of the best there has ever been. So will the King wake up from his slumber and light up the tournament and all his fans’ lives?
Well, if he does, we are in for a spectacle.
Nothing less, nothing more.
Both these teams are placed comfortably in the top half of the table and have 10 points already. Rajasthan Royals however have played a game less so they will feel a little more confident going into this game. With the form both batting and bowling departments have shown, Rajasthan Royals are one of the overwhelming favourites to make it to the play-offs this season.

RCB too have not done badly themselves. Even though Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli have hardly scored runs, they still have found someone putting their hand up every now and then. Dinesh Karthik is in the form of his life and he is undoubtedly having a season to remember. Maxwell and Shahbaz have also been in good touch. If Virat can join the party, RCB will be a very formidable side.
RCB vs RR Pitch Report
The MCA stadium has started playing a little slowly. Any target over 170 might not be an easy chase. The captain winning the toss might still be tempted to bowl first considering that the dew factor might come into play later.
